The 2017 edition of ISH, the world’s leading trade fair for the bathroom experience, building, energy, air-conditioning technology and renewable energies, took place from 14 to 18 March at Messe Frankfurt in Germany, where an unprecedented number of both exhibitors and visitors was achieved.

According to Messe Frankfurt, there was 2,482 exhibitors: 889 from Germany, and 1,593 from the rest of the world. This compares to 2,465 exhibitors in the 2015 edition. Also, more than 200,000 visitors made their way the fair to discover the numerous innovations and latest trends, an increase of 1.7 per cent compared to two years ago.

At the same time, ISH increased its level of internationality, with 64 per cent of exhibitors and 40 per cent of visitors came from outside Germany, an increase of three and one percentage points respectively.

“ISH is growing and becoming increasingly international. The indices are outstanding and the mood in the exhibition halls was excellent. We are extremely pleased with the results of the event,” says Wolfgang Marzin, president and CEO of Messe Frankfurt.
