MG Automotives’ new luxury sleeper coach, Starz, is reflecting on its journey as a coach builder.
With facilities at Belgaum and Zaheerabad, MG Automotives is supported by other MG Group companies like MG Composites, MG Grey Engine, and MG Leather & Trim. If these group companies are supporting MG Automotives in its quest to turnout exciting new products, the Starz is a
CIRT Type approved (AIS 119 Rev 1) luxury sleeper coach. It is claimed to be capable of providing the company an ability to carve out a niche for itself at the top end of the Indian bus market. Marking the commissioning of a new coach unit at Belgaum, the Starz, according to Anil Kamat, Managing Director, MG Group is yet another jewel in the crown of the company. Producing 100 coaches since displaying an impressive array of products at the Busworld India 2018, MG Automotives has successfully built a tarmac coach. If the tarmac coach has given MG Automotives the status of an OEM, the company has found good traction after it built a striking looking bus body on the front-engine bus chassis of MAN Trucks India called the Mammoth. Displaying a low-floor city bus on a Scania chassis at Prawaas 2017 expo, at Mumbai, MG Automotives is putting in a lot of efforts to get ahead of the curve.
