The modern range of products in the MAN CLA Evolution series includes tractor units in various axle combinations and chassis with or without bodywork. At the IAA Commercial Vehicles 2016, MAN showcased its new market specific configurations for the series, new design elements and the eco-friendly Euro 6 engine with a 6.9-litre cylinder capacity. The sophisticated vehicle concept offers proven technology and fulfils the requirements of a robust, reliable truck for any operating conditions to be found within the export markets. The vehicles are manufactured at the MAN production site in Pithampur (India), which is certified in accordance with ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001. Thanks to the robust chassis, the economical and reliable engines and the chassis, which is designed for adverse road conditions, the CLA series is ideally suited for the Asian, African and Middle Eastern markets. This combination of durable and easily maintained technology is guaranteed when using the MAN CLA Evolution, even in countries with less developed service infrastructure.
Optimised for specific markets
The series is robust and reliable, as well as being easy to maintain. Thanks to its minimal use of electronics. The fittings are individually tailored to the target markets, enabling the configuration of the vehicles, for specific applications. These robust trucks are now being exported through existing MAN sales structures to 40 markets. Since being introduced to the market ten years ago, the series has been delivered to a wide range of international customers.
