STEPPING ONTO A NEW BOAT always involves a moment or two of orientation and occasionally, unfortunately, disorientation. Where is this, where is that, why did they put that there … what is that? And so on.
On some boats this introduction can be quite painful, but on Jeanneau’s Sun Odyssey 440 it was delightfully easy, very quick and an absolute pleasure. Everything was just where it needed to be and nothing was a disappointment.
This beautifully designed and incredibly well thought-out addition to Jeanneau’s range is part of the eighth generation of the very successful Sun Odyssey line.
Philippe Briand, a man who has designed over 60 boats for Jeanneau since 1977, has brought his vast experience to bear on the hull and deck layout, while the team of Jean-Marc Piaton and Rafael Bonet have designed another beautiful interior.
