LUXURY SAILING, ITALIAN-STYLE

Sybaris is a 230-foot, high-performance ketch that accommodates 12 guests in six staterooms, with quarters for 12 crew. Built in Italy at the Perini Navi shipyard in 2016, she has an aluminum hull with carbon masts. She cruises at 12.5 knots with two 1,930-hp MTU diesels. Aboard are two 23-foot Cockwells tenders for day-tripping, a limousine tender for going ashore in style, a sport tender for water skiing and other tow sports, and a 14-foot Zodiac RIB for everything else. Her 60-foot flybridge has guest seating with 360-degree views, and inside, a glass staircase on centerline looks like a work of art in the main saloon. She is listed with Edmiston for about $103.7 million. edmiston.com

Superlative St. Augustine

St. Augustine, Florida, is one of my favorite cruising destinations. (And I’ve been to quite a few.) It’s pretty, historic, has a timeless ambience and celebrates with festivals year-round. And it has beaches and golf.
