So the 11th Edition of Excon 2021 will soon be upon us. Ever since it began, this has been the largest trade show for construction equipment and machinery industry. Every two years, the organisers have improved on the theme and have brought forth several innovations and encouraged exhibitors to come up with new technologies. This year too, the organisors, mainly the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) are organising the South Asia's largest construction equipment and construction technology trade fair at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC), Bengaluru from May 17-21, 2022.
The key elements which will have enhanced focus in Excon 2021 this year will be on the alignment of its theme - "Building India for a New World - Competitiveness, Growth, Sustainability, Technology". Some of the highlights includes exclusive focus on alternate fuels, women in infrastructure, Al pavilion, finance plaza besides sustainability, MSMEs, digital transformation, among others.
