Inquiry-based learning leads to innovation and entrepreneurship

As we are moving into a knowledge-based economy, engineering graduates must be equipped with 21st-century skills to create a pool of top-notch innovative talents in emerging engineering streams, and more so, especially in the context of Industry 4.0.

From our association with industry bodies and policy makers, we have been able to curate a curriculum that not only integrates conventional engineering practices with interdisciplinary technology, but also emphasizes on critical life skills, entrepreneurial thinking, and experiential learning.

Project-based experiential learning at BMU allows our students to conceive, design, and implement their thoughts leading to their personal self-enrichment and entrepreneurial insight. The centers of excellence in different technologies and other state-of-the-art living labs together with our truly multidisciplinary faculty gives us the space to execute inquiry-based learning leading to innovation and entrepreneurship.

The importance of constant skilling and reskilling

We, at BMU, have been constantly communicating and collaborating with our partner industries to help develop a set of capabilities of the future in our engineering talent who can lead their organizations to success in the 21st century. The disruptions happening in engineering education is forcing our community to get acquainted with the idea of upgrading themselves to the times through constant skilling and reskilling.
