Kerala Tourism delegation, led by P Bala Kiran IAS, Director, Kerala Tourism, pulled off a spectacular show at World Travel Market (WTM) London 2019. The highlight of Kerala Tourism’s WTM London campaign was the 120-sq. m. pavilion themed on ‘Human by Nature’ – Kerala’s latest innovative marketing campaign that seeks to create a beautiful symmetry between the State’s people and nature’s beauty. The three-minute destination campaign film, part of a marketing blitzkrieg to position Kerala’s touristy appeal beyond the Indian shores, triggered huge interest among the visitors.
“Within three months of its launch in February, the campaign received 40 million views across our social media platforms. We are now taking it to the international audience and WTM London is the best platform,” Bala Kiran said.
Yogendra Tripathi IAS, Secretary, Ministry of Tourism also visited the State’s pavilion and interacted with trade delegation from the State. Besides the Director, the Kerala delegation included Riyaz U C, MD, Spiceland Holidays; Raja Gopaal Iyer, Uday Samudra Leisure Beach Hotel & Spa; Ranju Joseph, Director & CEO, Pioneer Personalized Holidays; Jibran Asif, Director, Abad Hotels & Resorts; Shuvendu Banerjee, General Manager, Crowne Plaza Kochi; Mathews Verghese, MD, Eastend Resorts & Hotels; Wilson Mathew, VP, Intersight Tours & Travels; Binoj T Baby, Director, The Lake Village Ayurvedic Resort; Mohammed Anas B S, Marketing Manager, Tigris Valley and Mahesh P, Nilgiris Luxury Jungle Resort.
