We are more creative than other species and we have always tried to innovate food. We enjoy the aroma, the appearance, the texture, the colour and the taste. We find new solutions to make the food we eat better for our body, health and even to satisfy all the senses. Seasoning is one such Food Solution which has come a long way and has established itself as an important ‘Food Ingredient’ in many of the food we consume today.

Salt is one of the basic ingredients in the kitchen and can be considered as one of the earliest seasoning. During ancient civilization salt was used to preserve food, and even to enhance the flavor. Salt was an important trade commodity, in simple words it was precious along with Spices. In many civilizations, Spices and Herbs were used for their health benefits and due its added benefit to enhance the flavor it became an integral part of culinary world. And eventually spices were an important trade commodity and were a global commodity centuries before European voyages. Black Pepper was considered as Black Gold. People were drawn towards Ingredients which made food tastier and aromatic. Any ingredient which could enhance the flavor of food was considered precious. Spices and Herbs not only enhanced flavors, but they played major role in Preserving the food and showed various antibacterial, antiseptic and had major health benefits.

Consumers are enjoying the Pizza flavoured chips, Biryani noodles, Smoked fries, Instant Puliyogre, Instant Sweet Corn / Chicken Soup to name a few and in all these product seasonings has a major role to play.

Seasoning is a blend of various ingredients in a right proportion balanced to provide a particular effect based on the intended use. Seasoning Developers are constantly working on formulating a perfect seasoning. The Blends are formulated not only to enhance the flavor of a product but also to provide unique flavor to the food products, along with texture and stability.
