Pawoon offers a cutting-edge POS system that prevents SMEs from suffering unnecessary losses.
Millions of Indonesian SMEs use conventional bookkeeping methods in ways that leave them prone to loss of change and transaction records. But thanks to a cloud-based point of sales (POS) application, Pawoon, SMEs can now manage their businesses more properly.
“First-time business owners who saw Pawoon’s demo really appreciate the simplicity and the value we provide for them to do business. Since it is cloud-based, they can be more productive instead of sitting the whole day manually doing bookkeeping, checking on sales and employees,” says Founder and CEO of Pawoon, Ahmad Gadi.
The idea to establish the company goes back to 2014, after which they joined Ideabox – an incubator program hosted by Indosat – where they developed business cases and delved into customers’ perspectives. In 2015, Pawoon was officially launched and in March 2017 it received their Series A funding from Kejora Ventures.
Pawoon offers merchants one-stop services, ranging from sales checks and inventory management to customer relationship management (CRM). The application itself is accessible through commonly used android devices, so business owners who are already using them do not necessarily have to buy new ones. Users do not have to worry over the complexity of using the application since Pawoon is built with local minded orientation and is designed with simple interface and language suitable to the needs of local businesses.
