Work life balance is all about the means to maintain a realistic balance between your work and career on the one hand, and health, leisure, family, along with spiritual developments on the other. The 21st century person is living a life full of unpredictable circumstances; a world of uncertainties, and, amidst all the volatility, the phrase 'work-life balance' seems to resurface like a bad penny. The most innocuous situations suddenly seem offensive, colleagues appear competitive, and, family members give you the 'do I know you?' look or in short, even turn strangers. It is a catch 22 situation, and, you find yourself bearing the brunt of not only your near and dear ones, but your professional counterparts as well. Under such circumstances, it becomes imperative for every individual to use his sound judgment, and, make the most appropriate decisions; develop a synergy between his personal and professional lives.
