Senthil Kumar KK, National Manager - Supply Chain Transformation, Hindustan CocaCola Beverages; Prof. R. Jayaraman, Operations and Supply Chain Management at Bhavan's SPJIMR (S.P. The discussion began with disruptions in the supply chain management. Speaking about it, Vipul Aggarwal said, “The foreseen disruptions can be dealt better with by drawing a disruptions calendar. Of course, disruptions such as outbreak of COVID-19 are unforeseen. In such cases, events calendar helps in terms of mindset preparedness.” He further added that some previous disruptions can guide us to handle current disruptions. He elaborated with an example by saying, “Last year, Jammu & Kashmir was under lockdown almost for 45 days. Then, everyone tackled with the issue in the state. Today, when lockdown was announced in the entire country, the same experience guided us to deal with the nationwide situation.”
