Comfort Food Is On The Trendy List

How did you come into the culinary profession and the people who shaped your career?

Since my childhood, I had a major inclination for food. Food prepared by my mother brought a sense of comfort to me. I was a big foodie and enjoyed trying new dishes and flavours. Most of my knowledge as a chef today, is credited to my mother, predominantly. She has played a big role in giving shape to my dreams and passion.

What are you currently engaged in and which are the career milestones you most cherish?

I am currently the Corporate Chef at Cafe Delhi Heights and Nueva. I specifically engage in menu planning, food trials, staff training, supervision of the kitchen and recipe audits.

My most cherished career milestone has been catering for the Asean Summit’ 18 on January, 25th at Rashtrapati Bhavan.

How do you feel about your life and career in this vocation?
