She’d hoped their recent move to the States would mark a fresh beginning for her and husband Wayne after enduring a tough 2017 – which saw the footballer arrested for drink-driving while behind the wheel of party girl Laura Simpson’s car.

But Coleen Rooney was left frustrated last week when fans accused her of secretly masking her unhappiness after she shared a photo of her and Wayne, 32, on a night out.

One fan commented, “The sadness in her eyes and not full smile says it all,” while another wrote, “I have worn that smile before… for my children and the outside world”.

UPSETTING COMMENTS

Referencing Wayne’s past bad behaviour, one fan even insisted, “You look lovely, have lovely boys, but he will break your heart as he has done about 2,3,4… lost count now how many times.”
