And Victoria Beckham faced fresh agony last week when her husband David admitted their marriage is “always hard work” – and that it had grown “more complicated” over time.

In an interview with an Australian TV show, the former England footballer said, “To have been married for the amount of time we have, it’s always hard work. It becomes a little bit more complicated.”

Fans were quick to react to David’s admission, with one posting online, “He’s never made comments like this before. Maybe he’s preparing for a split.” Another added, “It really sounds like they’re laying the groundwork for a divorce announcement. This is the kind of thing you keep to yourselves.”
