Famed Wecht pathologist says Glee star’s autopsy reveals she didn’t have to DROWN!

GLEE star Naya Rivera didn’t have to die, a top pathologist tells GLOBE after reviewing the tragic beauty’s autopsy.

The actress, 33, vanished on July 8 while boating on a California lake after counting “1, 2, 3” and jumping into the water with her then fouryear-old son, Josey.

Before her death, Naya managed to place Josey back in their rented pontoon boat, then raised her arm and began yelling for help, according to the boy’s account.

Her autopsy showed Naya had several substances in her system, including a prescription amphetamine and alcohol, and she was known to suffer from vertigo.

Her death was ruled an accidental drowning.

But renowned forensic pathologist Dr. Cyril Wecht tells GLOBE the tragedy could easily have been prevented!

He believes vertigo — an inner ear problem that causes dizziness — may have triggered a panic attack as Naya struggled to get back on the boat that was being pushed away from her by high winds.

“The dizziness and vertigo may have contributed to her death,” he tells GLOBE.
