The sports star and the actor make a handsome picture as they pose for HELLO! It’s their visual charm that places them among India’s most sought after poster couples these days. More than that, they are at home in each other’s company, and that is what matters. Hazel says, when she first met Yuvraj through a common friend, she had little or no premonition about that meeting ending up in matrimony. Yuvraj confesses that he was instantly drawn to her but it was only four years later that they actually caught up casually since their first meeting. “Those casual coffee sessions gradually became more frequent and six months later we were on our first official date,” remembers Hazel.

It’s interesting how Hazel has been preparing for the wedding with Yuvraj and his mother and a few close friends and is ready to receive her own family, days before the mega event. “My entire family will only arrive close to the actual wedding dates as in the UK you need to apply for leave at least a year in advance. But I am managing everything here.” Technology has come in handy when it comes to sharing notes with her family back in the UK, over the phone. When she does a trial with her wedding outfits at designer JJ Valaya’s, she picks up the phone and makes a video call to her sister and her little niece in England. They exult and admire Hazel as she discusses the colours and jewellery with her sister and waits for approval from her niece.
