Pompeo’s life is far from perfect. Indeed, the Grey’s Anatomy fave reveals she copped plenty of flak for negotiating a pay rise that now puts her earnings for the long-running medical drama at US$20 million.

“I’m 48 now, so I’ve finally gotten to the place where I’m OK asking for what I deserve,” she said in The Hollywood Reporter in January. Fair enough!

But Ellen isn’t just feeling the heat professionally but privately too, with her husband Chris Ivery’s sister Michelle declaring the star has cut her out of her life!

In a new interview with US Star magazine, Michelle shockingly claims her famous sister-in-law has divided the family. ‘She’s distanced herself from this side of the family... I don’t think she knows what’s going on with me – or anyone else”.
