In the three years since their 13-year marriage imploded – following his alleged affair with their Aussie-born nanny Mindy Mann – Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale have done their best to not let the nasty details of their split affect their children.

“We both want the kids to be as safe and as happy as possible, so that’s the only focus we have,” Gavin said last year.

But that doesn’t mean they always agree on what’s best for the children. Though the No Doubt front woman, 48, and the Bush rocker, 52, finalised their divorce two years ago, they’restill having blowout fights over how they want to raise sons Kingston, 12, Zuma, 10, and Apollo, four.

In fact, the former spouses are so acrimonious, they’ve even turned to a mediator.

“They needed professional help,” an insider close to the situation reveals, adding that the impartial referee “has his hands full”.
