Emma Bunton announced the happy news she’s tied the knot with partner Jade Jones after over 20 years together last week. And a source close to the Spice Girl has told new their decision to get wed was very much spontaneous.
“They’ve been together for a long time, so this wedding was a long time coming. But they didn’t ever feel like they had to marry,” explained our source. “They’re a very secure couple. Emma didn’t feel like it would make a difference having the ring on her finger – it was quite impulsive.
“It’s been a tough year for everyone, so they just thought, ‘Let’s do it.’ They appreciate what they have after everything that’s happened during the pandemic. So they thought, ‘Let’s just do it, and do it our way.’”
