E-commerce platform The Bias Cut was launched in 2016 by Jacynth Bassett and was the first age-inclusive online womenswear boutique. Jacynth felt that women like her mother were increasingly being treated as invisible or irrelevant by the fashion industry, so she decided to take matters into her own hands and create a business that champions and celebrates women of all ages. The Bias Cut now houses brands such as Scotch & Soda, Jakke and Laines London. Jacynth continues to grow her online boutique and features non-professional 40+ women in each campaign launch.
