She may be training hard for Strictly, but when we chat with pro dancer Janette Manrara during a break from rehearsals with her partner, YouTube sensation HRVY, she’s still bursting with energy.
“HRVY’s an absolute dream to work with,” the bubbly 37-year-old tells us. “I’m so glad we get along, as he’s the only person I’m allowed to hang out with.”
Janette and her husband, fellow pro Aljaz Škorjanec, 30, who is this year partnered with radio presenter Clara Amfo, have become firm fan favourites since joining the show back in 2013. But to make Strictly work this year, the couple – who have been married for three years – have had to live apart for the first time in their 10-year relationship in order to form a bubble with their celeb partners.
