With the end of lockdown imminent and a new baby due in June, it’s no surprise that Binky Felstead is in one the best places of her life as we catch up on the phone.
The former Made In Chelsea star, 30, has spent the past few months enjoying time with daughter India, three, from her previous relationship with co-star Josh “JP” Patterson, as well as throwing herself into new work projects. And she’s thrilled to be on countdown to welcoming her baby boy with fiancé Max Darnton, 31, this summer!
Here, Binky, who sadly suffered a miscarriage last year, opens up to new about her anxiety during pregnancy, how she expects India to be a helpful and protective big sister, and how she’s been enjoying the little things in life over the past year...
Hi, Binky! What has been the biggest struggle for you during lockdown?
I’ve quite enjoyed elements of lockdown because I haven’t had the fear of missing out. I haven’t had to get all dressed up and make an effort when I’m feeling tired and I’ve obviously got India at home, which has been a dream. We’re a get-up-and-go family, we’re always doing stuff. So it’s been nice to enjoy our new home and take a step back from everything. But I think we’re getting a bit bored now. I love doing stuff outdoors, as I’m such an active person. Keeping myself mentally engaged with things has been a bit of a struggle but being active is so important to me and that’s why being outside has been so good for my mental health and physical wellbeing.
How has India been coping with lockdown?
