Michelle Heaton looked in great spirits as she celebrated her 42nd birthday last week following her month-long stint in rehab earlier this year.
But a source has claimed that while the Liberty X singer is staying focused, she knows she still has a long way to go.
Michelle checked into The Priory in April after a three-year alcohol and drug addiction – and since leaving, she has been determined to stay sober for herself and her family.
“Michelle is feeling much better after leaving rehab,” a source told new. “She had to go to save not just herself but her marriage, because it was taking over her life. She felt very down throughout lockdown but she’s really picked herself up.”
Michelle celebrated her birthday with husband Hugh Hanley and their children Faith, nine, and AJ, seven.
