Katie Price’s family are hoping the troubled star will learn from her mistakes after it was revealed she could be facing time in jail, a source has told new.

Last week, Katie, 43, was charged with harassing ex-husband Kieran Hayler’s fiancée Michelle Penticost over an alleged message. She’s been accused of breaching a restraining order against Michelle and will appear in court next month. But a source claimed that those close to Katie believe the prospect of her potentially serving time in prison could be a blessing in disguise.

“Katie’s family want her to embrace her mistakes and learn from them. If she was sent to prison one day, it could actually be a turning point for her,” our source claimed.

“It could be what she needs to make her finally sit up and see sense. Those close to her are tired of her blaming others for her own actions – and hope this could be a wake-up call for her,” they continued.
