Ansel Elgort 'Don't Call Me A Playboy

At first glance, Ansel Elgort looks like a regular guy. You’d never guess the 23-year-old’s already a multi-hyphenate success story with millions in the bank. And that’s exactly how the New York native likes it.

‘I don’t walk around calling attention to myself,’ he explains, revealing he prefers ‘the subway or UberX’ when he needs to get around. ‘I’ve made some money, but I don’t spend it on anything besides my rent. It’s important to be able to blend in otherwise you turn into a Hollywood douchebag. I’m sure plenty of people think I am one, too.’

But Ansel’s totally cool with that. ‘Most people who say mean things about me have never met me before, so that’s sort of the way it works,’ concedes the actor, who got his big break in the remake of horror film Carrie before landing Divergent and The Fault in Our Stars. Dabbling in everything from music to tech, Ansel is a quadruple-threat – don’t mess with this record label-signed DJ-model-actor-singer!
