Royals In Crisis A Family Torn Apart

The once fab four are no longer, as tensions reach their peak

The temperature inside London’s already chilly Westminster Abbey noticeably plummeted when the Dukes and Duchesses of Cambridge and Sussex met for the first time since Harry and Meghan announced they were quitting the monarchy back in January.

Four months since their last public outing together, it was clear from the moment the once fab four laid eyes on each other that the dynamics have changed dramatically between them.

Harry and Meghan walked in ahead of William and Kate for the Commonwealth Service on March 9, with the cool exchange of brief and forced hellos between the once inseparable royals playing out in front of a gobsmacked global audience.

Meghan, 38, was seen mouthing ‘Hi’ and giving a small wave to William and Kate, followed by a ‘Hello’ – a very different greeting than the warm kiss on the cheek she and Kate, also 38, exchanged at the same event last year.

Meanwhile, Harry, 35, also said a polite ‘Hello’ to the couple and even managed a smile at his brother – which didn’t appear to be reciprocated by William, 37.

After the stilted greetings, the two couples didn’t make any further contact before leaving the service in separate cars.

‘If things are this bad between the royals in public, you can only imagine what must be going on behind closed doors,’ an onlooker admitted to OK!.
