Awards season is well and truly in full swing, with the who’s who of the music industry heading to Los Angeles’ Microsoft Theater for the 49th annual American Music Awards last week.
Bruno Mars, 36, collaborated with Anderson .Paak, 35, to kick off the night, performing Smokin’ Out The Window. The pair later picked up the award for Favourite R&B Song for their hit Leave The Door Open.
Host Cardi B, 29, was among the ceremony’s best dressed, swapping outfits throughout the evening. She arrived on the red carpet in a stunning black gown and veil, concealing her face behind a gold mask, before switching up her style to show off multiple fabulous numbers, complete with elaborate headdresses. And Cardi didn’t go home empty-handed, with the rapper – in a limegreen number and billowing cape – receiving the award for Favourite Hip-Hop Song for Up.
