A High-low Record for Paulo and Katyucia

LOVE truly knows no bounds. Especially if said love had initially not been one of a reciprocal nature. As far-reaching and often baffling as some bonds between people can be, they do however, instil a sense of joy and hope in others. You may remember our story on Paulo Gabriel Da Silve Barros and Katyucia Hoshino, which we ran a good while ago. Well, the natives of Brazil, who have now got hitched, have made headlines again, this time by flying out to London and being confirmed by officials at Guinness World Records as the shortest married couple on Earth. Gabriel stands 90cm high and Katyucia herself measures in at 91cm. They were officially confirmed as the record holders in September, with a collective height of 181.41cm. The pair dressed in their wedding attire and a red carpet was rolled out for them in front of London’s Houses of Parliament for photographs.
