There’S an old aphorism that rings: ‘to be wise beyond one’s own years’. it’s but a mere small form of intellectual flattery we assign to someone whom we greatly admire for their insight and maturity.

To age beyond one’s years however, could possibly one of the most severe afflictions a person could suffer. The blight hinders a person’s normal functioning – tampering with organs, from the heart to the eyes. Now a small boy sees his genetic curse paired with his youthful ignorance, leaving him unable to fully understand his dissimilarities to those of his friends.
