Days’s Andre and Chad team up to turn the tables on Clyde.

After Marlena shares her plot to bring down the convicts with Patch and Kayla, they, in turn, try to rope in Chad and Kate. “Patch and Kayla have this plan and they want to use Kate as bait in order to lure Clyde in,” begins Billy Flynn (Chad), whose alter ego is anxious to rid himself of Clyde. “I think with Abigail dead, Chad just wants to shut it down with Clyde. He just wants it all to be over with, and especially with Abby being gone, he’s that much more protective of Thomas. He just wants to close that chapter.”

But he doesn’t want to use Kate to do it. “She’s his mother, really,” points out Flynn. “She’s so deceitful in her own right but at the same time, she cares about Chad. She sees the good in him and sees that he’s someone whose future is unknown. I think she wants to groom him to be this idea of what she thinks a DiMera should be. Chad doesn’t want to put her in harm’s way, so between him, Andre and Kate, they come up with their own plan, outside of Patch and Kayla, to do it their way, be DiMeras. Don’t listen to anybody. And it will be interesting because you aren’t sure if Andre is part of the plan or he’s going to backstab Chad.”
