DON’T judge! It’s been a rough couple of years for the “Money Can’t Buy You Class” singer. In August 2017, she divorced man-about-town Tom D’Agostino after less than a year of marriage. That December, the former nurse was arrested for disorderly intoxication, among other charges, in Palm Beach, Fla., leading to a stint in rehab and a subsequent arrest for violating parole. Now, with her court-mandated period of sobriety over, the 54-year-old tells Star she’ll hoist a glass (or two) this season. “I feel like I’ve been through a really difficult time, I’ve learned from it, I’ve decided to forgive myself and drink socially if I feel like it,” says the countess, adding, “I just feel like I’m so harshly judged, I don’t want that to be the deciding point of who I am on the show.”

With her frenemy Bethenny Frankel — who constantly challenged her commitment to sobriety — off the show, Lu says “there’s more oxygen in the room.” Now that the confrontational cast member is out of the way, she promises, “you get to know the ladies better because there’s more breathing room.”

But of course, that doesn’t mean all is copacetic. “Well, Bezerkshires is always the Bezerkshires,” she hints of the crew’s annual trek to Dorinda Medley’s estate in the Berkshires, site of many a knockdown fight. “It’s bad.”
