Motswako Season 20 Thursdays SABC2 (*192) 20:30
If you’re searching for a heartfelt discussion about women empowerment or an inspiring success story
filled with tears and laughs, talkshow Motswako (2003-now) has it all. In each episode, new host Sechaba Gqeba is joined by celebrity guests – be it a man or woman – and they chat about issues faced by women in society or the workplace. Nothing is off the table. They’ll tackle subjects like the objectification of women’s bodies, sexuality and the pressures met by female athletes. “Motswako puts the woman at the forefront,” says Sechaba, adding that “we chat about their lives, rights and achievements while encouraging inclusivity and diversity. Season 20 is fun, informative and most importantly, impactful.”
