The problem with thinking some-thing and real life is that the two are very rarely the same. Puleng (Tebogo Khalo) thought that her onenight stand with her newly engaged friend Sabelo (Ishmauel Songo) was as messy as it could get. But surprise No. 2 is waiting around the corner: Sabelo’s radio presenter fiancée Sindiswa (Mbalenhle Zakwe) wants Puleng to be her maid of honour at the upcoming wedding. “Puleng is caught offguard,” says Tebogo, who adds that her character has no feelings for Sabelo and they’ve agreed that hooking up was a mistake, so they’re keeping quiet. Puleng is terrified to get too close to Sindiswa so soon after landing in bed with her man. But Puleng’s guilt pushes her to take on the wedding role, adds Tebogo. “She thinks that she can make up for her betrayal by helping out at the wedding. Puleng means well, but she could just come clean instead and deal with the fallout.”
