In June 2021, an anonymous tipster spilled to popular Instagram gossip account DeuxMoi that there had been rumblings in Sweden that singer Lykke Li had been “secretly dating” superstar Brad Pitt for “quite some time”. Then, on January 26, the rumours reignited when the same outlet claimed that Pitt and “that Swedish singer” were spotted dining together at the Italian eatery Mother Wolf in Hollywood. “Brad and Lykke have been able to fly under the radar so easily because they’re neighbours,” a source told UK newspaper The Sun.

Indeed, Pitt’s sprawling Los Feliz estate, comprised of four combined properties, is three minutes from the two-bedroom home where 35-year-old Li has lived with her 5-year-old son Dion since splitting with her ex, music producer Jeff Bhasker, in 2018. Also in the neighbourhood is Pitt’s ex, Angelina Jolie, who lives in Cecil B. DeMille’s former home with her and Pitt’s children Maddox, 20, Pax, 18, Zahara, 17, Shiloh, 15, and Knox and Vivienne, 13. “I wanted it to be close to their dad, who is only five minutes away,” Jolie told British Vogue last year.
