The Lifeprint concept is an intriguing one. Rather than just wirelessly print photos from your iPhone, Lifeprint enables you to bring them to life. To do that, choose a live photo, video, GIF or other animated format and print it; then fire up the Lifeprint app and hold your phone’s camera over the printed image. As if by magic, it plays the live photo or video within the frame of the print.

It’s a clever idea, but whether it’s more than a novelty is another matter.
