G-Tech ArmorLock Encrypted NVMe SSD
£559.99 FROM shop.westerndigital.com FEATURES 2TB, USB-C port, with USB-C and USB-A cables
Design
The sturdy casing of the ArmorLock drive means that it’s a little on the chunky side, measuring 19mm thick, 82mm wide, and 134mm long, and weighing 200g. It’s only available with 2TB storage, but it’s still small enough to slip into a bag alongside your laptop.
Features
The ArmorLock drive is built like a tank, and can survive drops from 3m, pressure of over 450kg, and is rated IP67 for water and dust resistance. It has a USB-C interface, but G-Tech includes cables for both USB-C and USB-A.
