Yet these days, an increasing number of TV and film celebrities are doing the reverse: creating their own YouTube channels as an extension of their showbiz persona. While some vlogs are in conjunction with their work—giving fans an insider’s look at their daily lives—many also reel in viewers with their fascinating and relatable interests, passions, and other talents outside of their usual on-cam work. So if you’re into geeking out, getting fit, traveling, cooking, or eating, here are some local celebrity vloggers you should be following:

When he’s not making us laugh on TV, Michael V. (a.k.a. Bitoy) geeks out on his own YouTube channel, Michael V. #BitoyStory.

He began with a review of the iPhone X, followed by the Nintendo Switch and Apple Watch Hermes Edition. He occasionally showcases one of his lesserknown talents: sketching. He’s only starting out (less than a year in), but his channel looks promising and definitely interesting to fellow gamers and comics fans.
