Tell us about your childhood memories....
I had one amazing childhood! Born in Solapur and brought up in pune, I had the best of both the cities! I enjoyed my childhood thoroughly to the core! Honestly, when I see today’s kids playing with smart phones and other gadgets, I feel that technology has taken over our kids; they hardly go out to play these days, and that is one sad picture. I remember spending my childhood playing with my sister and other friends. Also, as a kid, I always participated in cultural activities, dancing and singing being one of my favourites! And what do I say about my school! They were very supportive, and that’s the reason I could pursue art and excel in it. I have a lot of fond childhood memories that I can recall even today; I had an eventful childhood for sure.
Moving on, tell us about your initial days in the industry.I am really lucky that I am part of the Marathi film industry. The industry treated me very well and respected me as a person; that’s where I took a liking to it. Thankfully, I never had to face the wrath of directors and other senior actors that I have worked with. Likewise, I never faced any hostile situations; instead, what I have come to realise is that the Marathi film fraternity showers immense love and affection and everyone is welcome here. I consider myself very lucky to be part of this industry.
