CAFÉS AND AFTERNOON TEA
Sweet Little Things tearoom and bakery is centrally located, just next to Southgate in the city centre. Hard to miss with its sorbet coloured outdoor dining chairs, beautifully decorated interiors full of blooms and downstairs flower room with a swing, this is the perfect place to catch-up with a friend for coffee and cake. The menu includes buttermilk pancakes and acai brunch bowls, light lunches and afternoon teas and don’t miss the SLT signature pink hot chocolate.
Choose from a menu of locally and sustainably sourced breakfasts, lunches, cakes and pastries at The Provenist, tucked away in the Tram Yard on Walcot Street. Part of the luxury interior company Neptune, the café supports lesser known independent food producers in the Bath area.
Try local speciality the Sally Lunn Bunn at Sally Lunn’s Historic Eating House. Rich, round and brioche in style, the bun is served sweet or savoury.
PUBS AND BARS
Sub 13 is an award-winning cocktail bar in the centre of Bath. With sweeping velvet sofas inside and a Champagne terrace outside it is one of the most stylish venues in the city.
