Is it possible to garden in a frost pocket? Tamsin Westhorpe warms to the idea.
WHAT do gardeners like to talk about the most? The weather of course. During the winter, frost is a hot topic; gardeners with a frost pocket needing to be extra vigilant about plant protection. So, what is a frost pocket? Put simply it’s an area of low-lying land where cold air collects.
