Nonplus boss Boddika heads to the UAE to celebrate with Boogie Box.
Boddika is the very definition of an artist who is always evolving, and it’s been that way since he first emerged in 2000. That was as one half of Instra:mental, a duo that rose from the ashes of the exhausted and trite drum ‘n’ bass scene and reinvigorated it with new styles, sounds and sonic directions.
Ever since then he has mangled electro, breakbeat, UK garage, house and bass into his own distinctive forms, both solo but also in cahoots with Joy Orbison and Pearson Sound. At the same time, he runs his own Nonplus label, which has been responsible for some of the biggest underground hits of recent years, and is known for everything from stripped backsteppers to banging techno tracks.
