IT’S a grave injustice! American everyman Tom Hanks shunned his mother’s funeral and has allowed her grave to fall into disrepair —with only a traffic cone in place of her headstone!

The Hollywood superstar wrote a tribute to his birth mother on social media, and paid for the funeral — but never made it the burial.

“He’s a very wealthy man but he hasn’t helped since she was buried,” a source revealed.

“That anyone could treat their mother with such disrespect even in death is heartbreaking, not to mention disgraceful. Tom should be ashamed of himself!”

The Oscar winner’s mother, Janet Frager — who died aged 84 in July — is buried alongside her parents but their shared tomb is smashed to pieces and left exposed to flooding!
