The first season of Batwoman came to an end last week with a dramatic finale that saw bandaged villain Tommy Elliot, AKA Hush, arrive in Gotham City wearing the face of Bruce Wayne, and Batwoman nearly getting killed by her own father.
While we eagerly await season two next year, there’s an extra bonus for fans of the superhero series this week when E4 shows the Batwoman episode of the recent Arrowverse crossover Crisis on Infinite Earths.
The special event was shown in the UK in the spring, but because E4 and not Sky (which airs the other Arrowverse shows) picked up the rights to Batwoman, the crossover went out missing the episode.
We finally get to see it this week, and thankfully the instalment works pretty well as a standalone story as Kate Kane (Ruby Rose), AKA Batwoman, and the team go in search of the Paragons, the seven special people who can save the multiverse – which provides a great excuse for fan-favourite cameos from the DC universe.
