Can confirmed petrolhead Guy Martin embrace the car’s electric future? This week, the Grimsby speedster sets out to learn all he can about electric vehicles in a one-off special.
‘If you want a new car beyond 2030, it’s got to be electric, whether that’s hydrogen or rechargeable,’ explains Martin. ‘But is that going to be a realistic future? I thought, “You can’t knock it till you’ve tried it!”’
In search of answers, Martin tries out a variety of electric vehicles, including an e-bike, which he manages to fall off.
