The COVID-19 pandemic may have halted production of many of our favourite shows, but we simply couldn’t imagine the autumn TV schedules without I’m a Celebrity… Get Me out of Here!
So, with this year’s celebrities unable to travel to the jungle in Australia, Ant and Dec will host the 20th series live each night from the historic – and some say haunted – Gwrych Castle in North Wales.
As always, speculation is rife about which famous faces will be taking part and those rumoured include TV presenter Vernon Kay and former Strictly Come Dancing professional AJ Pritchard (see panel, below left), who’ll all be competing to be crowned King or Queen of the Castle.
Aside from the change in surroundings, the show will still feature all the gruelling trials to win food for the gang – and we’re promised these will be as tough as ever. And, of course, failing to win stars this year will mean the celebs will be both hungry and cold…
