Scottish comedian and Love Island narrator Iain Stirling began his TV career on CBBC where his sidekick was a dog puppet. Now, just over a decade later, Stirling is drawing on that time as a children’s presenter for his new ITV2 sitcom Buffering.
BAFTA-nominated Stirling, who created the six-part series with fellow comedian Steve Bugeja, stars as Iain, a kids’ presenter with a puppet sidekick.
Disillusioned with his job, Iain is not in a great place in his personal life either. After being dumped, he’s moved into a flatshare with his old university friend Ashley (Rosa Robson).
