Get ready for a trip down memory lane this week as Alan Carr hosts ITV’s brand-new entertainment series Epic Gameshow.
Over six weeks, the Chatty Man star, 43, will present updated versions of the best-loved game shows from days gone by, such as Take Your Pick!, Strike It Lucky, Bullseye and The Price Is Right – all with new twists, celebrity assistants and big prizes.
First up is a celebrity version of Play Your Cards Right, which features Martine McCutcheon with singer husband Jack McManus, Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford, Chris Ramsey and wife Rosie, plus Ore Oduba with his wife Portia.
We chatted to Carr to hear more…
Are you excited about the show?
It’s a real honour – it makes me feel all warm and squishy. This series is like when you go on safari and you want to see ‘The Big Five’ – these are the game shows that started it all.
You’re bringing back a different game show each week. Which is your favorite?
