Walliams Goes Wild

After swimming the English Channel and the length of the River Thames for Sport Relief, David Walliams takes on another tough outdoors challenge this week, when he joins Bear Grylls for a heart-stopping adventure in the wilds of Devon.

The one-off programme sees Walliams follow in the footsteps of Gareth Southgate and Anthony Joshua, as Grylls tests the limits of his endurance with a series of adrenaline-fuelled tasks, beginning with a 200ft descent down a crumbling rock face into a reservoir below.

CHALLENGING

‘I don’t like heights – they make me feel dizzy,’ reveals Walliams. ‘You think, one little mistake and that’s it. The cliff was so slippery. I wasn’t quite as brave as I wanted to be and I was a bit tearful at one point – but I didn’t give up.’
