Rebecca Front on her joy at playing against type in Kay Mellor’s latest drama…
DRAMA
Love, Lies & Records
THURSDAY / BBC1 / 9.00PM
Warm, modest, and full of fun, actress Rebecca Front is always a joy to interview.
It’s somewhat unlikely, however, that any of those words would be used to describe Rebecca’s current character, jobsworth Judy, in BBC1 drama Love, Lies & Records.
After missing out on promotion to her dream job of Superintendent, jealous Judy has set about making life hell for new boss Kate (Ashley Jensen). In this week’s third episode, an anonymous email featuring that video of Kate sends shockwaves through the register office and all eyes turn to Judy.
During a break from filming at Dewsbury Town Hall, Rebecca, 53, tells TV Times why she’s having a ball playing someone so different from herself…
